Love is constant, only the names change,

the experience of the moment,

a series of moments,

the adventure of the currents we ride,

Lover of leaving, forever returning ,,,



Love doesn't last forever,

sometimes its a wounded animal,

crawling thru a culvert, to any shelter,

to die as invisible as possible,,,


To return to the earth,

to nourish other life,

and return to the other side of infinity,

forever returning ,,,



Riding the waves, we meet in the moments,

unfolding the air that touches the skin,

A caravan of adventures, a turn of the lips,

The eyes searching, for the next moment ,,,

Lover of leaving re-discovering another way to return ~~~

                     its not deep, its not difficult ,,,its way over-analysed
                        Its nature at its finest ,,,  all animals have it
               If an animal, or human , ( the emotional animal  )  doesn't have it
                            then you may want to discover what is missing ,,,

                               its the joy of motion,,,the pleasure of stillness,,
                                           and the moments in between

Awareness is one moment waiting for the next,

Awareness is more than a destination,

Awareness is the air we breathe

   and the terrain beneath our feet,

Awareness is not a place that one day shows up,

Awareness is in all of us, inside all living things,

Awareness is this living, breathing vibrant planet

Awareness is alive and awake...




Awareness doesn't  need your approval or your participation,

Awareness doesn't need to look for truth somewhere else

Awareness is the authentic moment ,  whether you agree doesn't matter..
.



Thru habits and domestication,

Awareness sometimes goes dormant

            dulls the emotions,

and a hardness callousses the heart,

Awareness tho dormant ,  awaits opportunities,

Awareness is an invitation to participate in our lives...



With horses ,  awareness is when your two legs

now become the thought of four legs,

Awareness is further intensified

when we acquire eyes on the bottom of the feet,

and we are aware of the terrain...



Awareness is the stillness that breathes in unison

towards the feel in our hands,

Awareness is knowing that nerve endings stir the molecules,

Awareness is the wind that reminds the hair of motion

and allows us to feel alive at this place,

                   right here...right now...

                       we feel wild peace   ~~~~~~

Where exploring possibilities enhances, 

and cannot participate when limitations

Theres no moment other than this, by chance or designs,

As it happened, for some reasons,  by signal or signs,

All the moments before have led to this hour,

A hummingbird sticking its beak, into a selected flower   ---



The magic of the moment, brought together by fate,

A happening of chance, takes possession of this date,

I threw the map out and it still got me here,

By the turn of events and the approach thats near   ---




The compensation of result, held in hands of the balance,

The inevitables waiting in turn for their place to land,

Each of us prepares the way for the next moment,

To be felt, and remembered, but too light for holding   ------

Its hot, as your muscles tighten, and a shiver runs through your body,

It may be another feeling that its not real, but you don't

       look it in the eye, like it could cause you to move, so try to

       ignore it, and I hope your feeling better by Wensday   ---




Say you're going home, by the look of your eyes that try to hide,

Yer troubled, so you make small talk, in some kind of hope

      that it will all go away but then its quiet, but the

      noise in yer head grows, and you've run out of places to go  ---




Yer running, yer running some more, searching for air,

then you find you don't have to run, standing face to face,

Here I am, yield to the pressure, let it move aside,

      if yer troubled, you can run some more, thats okay,

      I'm beside you, I've never really left you, and thats okay too   ------




   (this song came to me as I was riding a horse that
    had some problems with people, she would blank out
    & take off running   ...   so rather than trying
    to restrain her as had been done by others, I let her go,
   and just touched her neck to let her know I was there,
   and she could have all the freedom she wanted, It was
   in northern arizona, a few miles from sedona, it was out in
   the desert, and considering the kentucky derby is about a
   mile and some, then sooner or later, as long as we didn't
   fall into an arroyo or a ditch, then we would slow down some,
   eventually  ---   as she ran, the wind was with us, and  I was still
   there, to let her know it was okay...till she needed guidance   ---  
   then I could direct some of the energy, and we would be together,
   a person with four legs, what some people need to understand is
   that if the horse  feels defensive then nature tells them to run,
   sometimes you have  to go with the horse before they can start to
    go with you...I don't  make them feel like they have to defend their
    selves, and I expect them to  use the brains they are born with...
    in other words, I teach them, rather than train them, and also
    I tend to like mares.... their survival impulses
           and appetite for living is strong.....)

The sun was shining in honesty,

Talk of love was a luxury, more than a necessity,

As we clawed for water and struggled for air,

I have no pictures to realistically hand down the generations,

To learn the best, ride the best you can   ---



On the long horizon, neither beginning nor end,

The footsteps today will tomorrow disappear,

Of our destination, the letters we send,

For the water I ask, the clouds need to appear   ---



      Don't put nothing on, don't take nothing off,

      You don't need a condition, there be not a pre-requisit,

      Come as you are   ------



Some time you need to know where you stand,

Changes will be coming, its getting later and later -

We are of one earth, we are where we each make some difference -

What of your future, however it is red,

Buddy, do yourself a favor,

Don't you think its time to make a stand ------


      Don't put nothing on, don't take nothing off,

      You don't need conditions, or wait till you're visited,

      Come as you are   ------

In the valley of the moon, near the waters edge

   where grows the midnights flower -

Opens the nourishing arms wide to gather the atmosphere

that feeds the passion, beyond beauty, past the boundaries,

of emotion, into the life, to race towards dawns other side ---



The glow on the map of the face in between shadows of where

you've been, in exile, left to wander, searching for a link,

Crossing borders, that are for some are a fence...growing hair

in all directions, branches of a tree reaching for a connection ---



Moondog wanders to the days edge, barks at the traveling sun,

in greeting, an invitation to dance where there are no corners,

the tongues explore as if catching a breath,

and drops of liquid find their way to the waterfall,

Growing in size to form a pool, join in time,full,

Measured in temperature at the plateaus, evaporating as a groan,

And sigh, go the way of a candles flame ---



Seize the notion, seize the motion, seize the motions sway of

the universal hum, when a whisper is heard over a shout, that

one candle can light many others, and still keep its share

that fuels the satellite past the international dream, to the universal stream   ------

  There are maps sold

   and rumors of sacred groves,
 
  None of them are true   ---



   Each of us has to make the pilgrimage

   Past the season of rumors, to the waters source


  We have to re-claim
  
   What is true for our selves -


   The hum of the univers needs no witnesses,

   Be content, you're the only one who

   needs to know      ------- the fire that feeds your soul   ------
